Fine tune input at the shifter and set chain tension accordingly with Tri-Pack™ Clutch technology. This advanced chain retention system provides instant engagement and long-lasting chain dampening through the use of a one-way roller bearing and composite friction plates. Housed in the lower knuckle, Tri-Pack™ is both user-friendly and easy to maintain, allowing riders to adjust clutch force* with a simple Torx®-equipped multi-tool.
FORGED CONSTRUCTION
Impact resistance is greatly improved by way of forging — a key manufacturing process that strengthens critical components. Tested at the premier freeride event of the season -- Red Bull Rampage -- this new construction has proven itself capable of performing at the highest levels and comes standard on all second-generation Box derailleurs.
