The Hutchinson Cougar Tubeless Hardskin 26" Folding Tire Tire was developed in partnership with Nicolas Vouilloz who was sponsored by Hutchinson during his 10 World Champion Mountain DH Bike titles. Vouilloz brought his depth of DH tire knowledge to the creation of the Cougar. Specific knob profile, geometry and design combined with Hutchinson's famous Race Riposte compound make it an impeccable tire for serious XC or hardcore DH or Enduro riding. Hangs tough in the corners but it\'s no slouch in the straights. The Hutchinson Cougar Tubeless Hardskin 26" Folding Tire prefers dry rocky conditions, but it can handle some mud as well.
Race Riposte Compound: is a ideal combination of materials (specific synthetic rubbers, carbon and silica) that creates a compound that will enable you to push your performance to new levels. Already used in motor sport (moto GP, motocross, Formula 1, etc.), this technology type of compound is now available for MTB tires.
